One day, the new Toyota Prius was feeling a bit frumpy and decided to shake things up with a new look. So, the humble hybrid went under the knife of Japanese vehicle modifiers Tommy Kaira. The result is a new, sexy look and not much else.

According to a recent Bloomberg article, the Nissan Leaf all-electric vehicle will be equipped with a noise generator that will add a futuristic sound to the silent vehicle at low speeds.

Volvo has announced that, in addition to developing a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, it has an all-electric version of the C30 hatchback in the works. The electric variant will be called the C30 BEV (battery electric vehicle) and will be the automaker’s first all-electric vehicle.
