The LG Viewty camera phone gets even Smarter

LG announces the Viewty Smart (LG-GC900), a more intelligent version of the original LG Viewty. This 2nd model adds Intelligent Shot Mode, an 8 Mp sensor with sensitivity up to ISO 1600, a high resolution WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen, and a more intelligent image processor. The Viewty Smart is just 12.4 mm deep, making it the slimmest 8 megapixel camera phone available to date. The LG Viewty Smart will be available through operators in Europe starting this May and then launch in other markets around the world…

Panasonic expands the Lumix FS series with the new DMC-FS12, FS42 and FS62 digital cameras. The model DMC-FS12 is a 12.1-megapixel camera with 4x optical zoom Lumix Vario lens and a 2.7-inch 230,000-dot LCD, the FS42 is a 10.1-megapixel model with the same zoom lens and a 2.5-inch 230,000-dot LCD.
