Pulse: World’s first WM7 phone is an LG?

by edit@cnet.com.au (Joseph Hanlon)

Well, who’d have thunk it. Not only did we not expect to see a Windows Phone 7 handset for a few months, but we didn’t expect it to be an LG-made phone.

Engadget is reporting that a guest from Microsoft on its Engadget Show revealed the prototype model during an interview. The handset is obviously a QWERTY slider with a high-res screen, and we can guess some of its specs, like a 1GHz processor, from what we know so far of the Microsoft-required hardware spec. Looks good LG, but pardon us for waiting impatiently for what will come from HTC and Samsung before we fall in love.
