Liquid Image announces a Snow Camera Goggle that contains a wide angle lens to capture all the action while skiing, boarding, sledding or snowmobiling. The hands free unit has a 5.0 Mp (2560×1920) camera mode and a video mode that records video (720×480) at a rate up to 30 frames/second with audio. The unit has an estimated price of $149.00. Samyang announces two new lenses: the Samyang 8 mm f/3.5 fish-eye and Samyang 85 mm f/1.4 with a mount for Olympus 4/3. These lenses complete the series of mounts designed for Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax. Apart from different mounts, the optics in the products will remain the same. Both lenses will be available with manual focusing. Delta company, the general distributor of the Samyang products, will be responsible for sales in Europe. Both lenses will become available at the end of March 2010…

Samsung unveils a new compact digital camera through its USA website. The new Samsung CL80 (to be known as TL240 in other parts of the world) features a 31mm wide angle lens with 7x optical zoom, a 14-megapixel CCD and Dual Image Stabilization. You can record HD video in 1280×720p resolution at 30 frames/second and you can upload pictures through its Wi-Fi capability.
