Photographer: Bonnie Lin

Speciality: Wedding, events and fashion photography

Biography: Bonnie Lin is a production coordinator in the Animation industry and has worked for studios in Hong Kong and Singapore. During her time in Singapore she fell in love with photography.

When one of her friends lent her the Canon EOS 350D, Bonnie was inspired by the images she captured and bought her first camera, the Canon EOS 400D.

During her time in Singapore she travelled to as many neighbouring countries in South East Asia as she could, including Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and even Myanmar.

Bonnie's adventurous spirit has exposed her to many photographic opportunities, allowing her to develop her photographic eye as her experience and passion grew. She believes that taking good photos can only be done with a lot of patience - a really good photographer will often take millions of photos before being satisfied with just one. Even then, she realises that we must still be critical about our own work in order to capture the best image that the environment allows.

Equipment: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EOS 400D, Canon 24-70mm 2.8 L, Canon 85mm 1.2 L, Canon 70-200mm L 4 IS, Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 10-22mm, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CS.

I took this photo at Taronga Zoo. It was really interesting to see the three zebras lined up against the wood background - it's a perfect animal photo.
