Even though it’s no longer the sole contender in the travel camera category, the TZ7 still stands far above its competitors. If it wasn’t for the clunky mode dial and lack of manual controls, we would have no qualms about recommending the TZ7.

The top hundred finalists in the Hasselblad 2009 Masters Awards Competition have been selected and their images are now online for viewing and voting. Selected from 2300 applicants, the finalists are as diverse creatively as they are geographically. This year, for the first time, judging will be open to the public.
