Canon announces Rebel XS / EOS 1000D dSLR

Canon announces the Rebel XS / EOS 1000D digital SLR, featuring a 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, 7-point wide area AF system and up to 3fps continuous shooting. Furthermore, it features a 2.5" LCD with Live View shooting, the Canon DIGIC III image processor and the new SLR is of course fully compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses and EX-series Speedlites flashes.
