Photographing Istanbul’s Whirling Dervishes

My favorite and most passionate subject of late is photographing Turkey's Whirling Dervishes. Although not a household name in the West, most are likely to recognize this mystical sect of Islam by their trance-like spinning dance portrayed in travel magazines or television travel programs.
